Fall: #5 Differentiating Instruction for G/T Students (Formerly Curriculum 3)




This class will offer Gifted/Talented credit and is part of the G/T Foundation courses. This course is free to all districts in the Gifted/Talented Coop.

Important Session Information:


In this class, participants will learn about what differentiated instruction truly means, what it should look like for gifted students, what is required by Texas law for the design of curricula. The training is partially formatted in learning stations in order for participants to examine several specific differentiated instruction techniques. Although this is part of the 30 hours of Gifted/Talented foundational training a teacher is required to take before providing services to G/T students, it also meets requirements for a 6-hour annual G/T update credit. For continuity, it is recommended that you attend the 3 days sequentially. This session is paid for with g/t coop funds and open to all district members within the region 9 area at no additional charge. Non-coop member fee is $125. Per participant.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
