Gamify Your Science STAAR Review for Grades 5, 8, and Biology




The STAAR Science Review workshops are designed to provide teachers with resources to review and prepare students for STAAR Science Assessments.

Important Session Information:


Join us for an interactive face-to-face training to create an impactful review for your science classroom. Participants will experience hands-on games and activities that they can immediately take back to their students. The focus will be STAAR questions for science, but the ideas can easily be modified to use in any classroom. These games are based on CURRENT (old) science TEKS, not the new ones that will be implemented in Fall 2024. If you have attended a teacher STAAR review session in the past, this session will include the same games and activities. Come along if you need a refresher, or encourage your newly hired colleagues to attend!

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
