[ZOOM] Teaching with SCOTUS: The Stories Behind the Cases (Retro Report Series) (Session 1 of 3) (HS US, Gov) (May 29th, 2024 10a-12p)




This session is designed to provide support to social studies educators. The session will be delivered through Zoom.

Important Session Information:


THIS IS A ZOOM ON MAY 29, 2024 FROM 10:00 AM TO 12:00 PM. Engage students with the history and consequences of Supreme Court cases by examining the stories of those involved. Participants will examine this collection of materials, developed with a Teaching With Primary Sources grant. From Korematsu to Nixon, affirmative action to busing, help students grapple with the complexities of SCOTUS decisions. Note: This session will be especially beneficial for teachers in HS US History and Government. Please check your email for the zoom link 24-48 hours in advance of the session.
