Multi Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)- Introduction




Multi-Tier System of Supports (MTSS) encompasses support for the whole child and takes into account academics, behavior, and social/emotional supports. T.E.A's special education network, Tiered Intervention using Evidence-based Research, T.I.E.R., has created modules to help educators develop and implement MTSS.

Multi-Tier System of Supports (MTSS) encompasses support for the whole child and takes into account academics, behavior, and social/emotional supports. T.E.A's special education network, Tiered Intervention using Evidence-based Research, T.I.E.R., has created modules to help educators develop and implement MTSS. In this session, participants will go through the Overview of MTSS, Roles and Responsibilities Within a Problem Solving Team, and Data-Based Individualization within MTSS pathways found in T.I.E.R’s Introduction Module.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
