Burkburnett ISD Self-Assessment Team Training (Harding Building Board Room)




Participants will engage in a deeper look into the LEA self-assessment, explore sources of evidence, guiding questions, compliance/strategy items, and quality levels and be able to complete the self-assessment and support ongoing LEA improvement efforts. District Teams are encouraged to attend to work on SPED Self-Assessment submissions.

Important Session Information:


Participants will: review the "Why" and purpose of the special education self-assessment; understand the role of the self-assessment team and individual team roles; complete guided practice in rating performance categories, prioritized strategy areas, and justification writing; participate in a workshop to complete the self-assessment.
