Small Group Differentiated Reading Instruction (Grades K-2)

In collaboration with the West College of Education at Midwestern State University, Region 9 Education Service Center will host this one-day event.

Important Session Information:

Every reading classroom has time and space for rigorous grade level whole class instruction. So too must we have time for small group differentiated instruction in order to meet the varying needs of students in our classrooms and meet the requirements of Tier 1 in our MTSS. This jam packed session will equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to shift from “leveled text” lessons to- skills based and decodable reading for small group instruction. Participants will be encouraged to think about what we need to KEEP DOING in small groups, STOP DOING in small groups, and START DOING in small groups. Get ready for a great day of learning!
