Dyslexia Updates - WFISD Only




These sessions deal with best practices in evaluating students for dyslexia. 

Important Session Information:


This session is for WFISD staff only. This training will go into detail on updates from HB 3928. We will discuss child find, evaluation, determining eligibility, providers of dyslexia instruction, and progress reports. We will also review the HB 3928 FAQ document. This will be most beneficial for dyslexia teachers, special education teachers, general education teachers, and diagnosticians. Participants are encouraged to attend as a district or campus team (including both Dyslexia Specialists and Diags), but if only part of the team is available, most sections of the session will still be beneficial.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
