Annual State Assessment Training 2024-2025 (CTC Required)




Provide training and updates of the Texas assessment program.

Important Session Information:


Region 9 will turn around the TEA annual state assessment training for 2024-2025. This training includes all state assessments updates for STAAR 3-8, STAAR EOC, TELPAS, TELPAS Alt, and STAAR Alt 2. This will be face to face. STAAR training is required for Campus Testing Coordinators; however, all administration of tested campuses are encouraged to attend. Slides will be presented by your RTC Holly Hawkins, TEA Director of Test Administration Andrew Lawver, R9 EB Specialist Javier DeLeon, and R9 Evaluation Specialist David Hamilton.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
