T-TESS Orientation for New Teachers A.M. 8:30-12:00




T-TESS is the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System.  It is the NEW Commissioner-recommended teacher evaluation system for the State of Texas, designed to provide support and feedback to educators in their professional development and help them grow and improve as educators.  T-TESS replaces PDAS as the state recommended appraisal system beginning the 2016-17 school year. All new teachers and teachers who have not been evaluated using T-TESS are required to attend a one day orientation.

Important Session Information:


This session is required of ALL NEW teachers and/or teachers who have not previously been appraised with the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TTESS). Each of the domains and dimensions of the TTESS system will be discussed. Please make note of time! This is an 8:30 START. Session will end no later than 12:00pm.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
