CACFP & SFSP Procurement - Bids, Plans, RFPs, and Quotes ZOOM March 27, 2025, 9:00am - 12:00pm

This session is part of a series of CACFP LIVE Statewide Trainings being offered to empower Contracting Entities (CE) in their administration and operation of the food programs that are regulated by TDA. Participants will engage in online sessions covering program specific content pertinent to the application of the Child and Adult Care Food Program . In order to receive a certificate for an in-person course, please ensure you are on time for the start of class, and you are present for the entirety of the class, including the conclusion. Your signatures and initials (required for classes 6 hours or more in duration) on rosters are required. In order to receive a certificate for a virtual (Zoom) course, please ensure you are on time for the start of class, and you are present for the entirety of the virtual class, including the conclusion. Please include your information in the chat if requested by the instructor.
Important Session Information:
This course provides comprehensive guidance on the procurement process for CACFP participants. It covers essential procurement standards, the development of procurement plans, and the requirements for cost comparisons, quotes, bids, and RFPs. Participants will learn to manage contracts effectively, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations and promoting ethical procurement practices.
