Procurement of Food Service Vendor Contracts

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) classes will develop administrative, operational, and nutrition skills and knowledge necessary to understand and comply with the requirements of U.S. Department of Agriculture programs managed by the Texas Department of Agriculture. The goal of the CACFP is to improve and maintain the health and nutritional status of children and adults, promote development of good eating habits, and integrate nutritious food service with organized child and adult day care services.

Important Session Information:

Participants will develop a 4-step action plan to implement at their School Food Authority or organization to conduct self-checks of current or future formal contracts for consultants, vended meal services, and food service management companies.
