WFISD ONLY Math Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS)

In this professional development session, educators will explore and implement Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) tailored to the unique demands of mathematics instruction. Participants will engage in hands-on activities and discussions that center on evidence-based approaches proven to increase student understanding, engagement, and achievement in math classrooms.
Important Session Information:
WFISD ONLY: Math RBIS focuses on the essential best practices in balancing conceptual and procedural understanding, depth and coherence of key concepts, and productive struggle. RBIS articulates the key instructional shifts that must be present when delivering rigorous instruction to all learners. This includes students with disabilities, English learners and students identified as gifted and talented.
