This session will focus on Special Education Transition.
Important Session Information:
Graduation for Students in Special Education has implications for LEAs that reach outside of Special Education. This session will help LEAs make connections between Special Education, PEIMS, CTE, and Accountability. Participants will hear from Education Specialists about the following topics: Special Education Graduation (including 18+ and the new Sped Graduation FAQ), Graduation Plans, Course Substitutions, PEIMS Coding, CTE, Accountability Connections, and Transcripts/Course Credits. LEAs are encouraged to attend as a team as there will be built-in time for collaboration. The following staff will benefit the most from this session: - Transition Specialists - Secondary Diagnosticians - Special Education Administrators - PEIMS Personnel - Secondary Counselors - CTE Personnel - Accountability Personnel - Secondary Administrators
