American Welding Society (AWS) Teacher Training and Certification Workshop (2 Day) @ CITY VIEW HIGH SCHOOL

This 2 day session provides instruction and credit hours to obtain welding certification.
Important Session Information:
This is a two-day session. Day one is classroom style that provides information about IBCs, welding rules and requirements, curriculum resources, and assistance to teachers in deciding which IBCs to offer to students and obtain themselves. Day two is held in the shop for hands on welding experience. If not participating in the hands-on shop day, register for the one day training only. All participants will receive: - Professional development credit hours, certificate of training and welder certification wallet card, if applicable. - Online welder qualification/certification profile in the international certification registry, if applicable. - Virtual SENSE Training content to complete mod level 1, welder testing lesson plans, instructional lesson plans, AWS SENSE Entry Level Certification (upon passing classroom, weld shop and online quizzes) Note - Portions of SENSE testing may not be completed in this multi-day session and may be finished at the teachers’ home school and/or online as applicable.
