Treating Speech Sound Disorders: The Three E’s (F2F Session for SLPs and SLP-As 1-4:00 6/22/26)




These sessions are designed to address the professional needs of Speech Language Pathologists and Speech Language Pathology Assistants. 

Important Session Information:


The SLP treating speech sound disorders in children faces a considerable challenge when designing an intervention plan that is efficient, effective, and evidence-based. This session will translate concepts from current research into practical strategies for choosing treatment targets, selecting treatment approaches, eliciting more accurate productions, and improving automaticity and generalization. Using case examples, participants will learn how to use concurrent treatment as an alternative to traditional motor learning, apply concepts like neighborhood density and contextual facilitation to target selection, and manipulate treatment variables to promote optimal outcomes.Target Audience: SLP and SLP-As 3 TSHA CEUs available.
