Small & Rural Schools Mental Health Support (Grant participants only)




The Title IV MHBH grant will build local and regional expertise, training, resources, guidance, and capacity under Title IV, Part A, with a focus on mental and behavioral health for delivery to small and/or rural school systems within Region 9 ESC.

The Power of Creative Expression in Counseling: Many students struggle to verbalize complex emotions and experiences. Art provides a powerful alternative pathway for expression, especially for younger learners and those who find traditional talk therapy challenging. Learn creative approaches that boost engagement, extend attention spans, and make counseling sessions genuinely enjoyable. When students are having fun, they are learning!

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
