Touch it. Build it. Count it. Making Early Learning Math Make Sense: Aligning Pre-K Math Guidelines & Kindergarten TEKS




This session is designed to provide support to early learning educators. 

Important Session Information:


Young children don’t learn math from paper; they learn it from exploration and play. This interactive session brings the Texas Pre-K Math Guidelines and Kindergraten TEKS to life through manipulatives, movement, and meaningful classroom moments. Teachers will discover how to grow number sense, shapes, measurement, patterns, and high-level questioning that makes math stick.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
