Bluebonnet Learning RLA 3-5 INITIAL Training for Teachers




This session is designed to support the implementation of TEA Open Education Resource (OER) products.

Important Session Information:


This is the Bluebonnet Learning RLA 3-5 Initial Training for Teachers and is Day 2 of 3 in the recommended sequence for educators who will be using the Bluebonnet RLA curriculum. This training session is for teachers, principals, and instructional coaches who will be using Bluebonnet Learning RLA in grades 3-5. Bluebonnet Learning RLA is a Tier 1 Instructional Program that builds knowledge through high interest topics and themes, while incorporating social studies, science and literary content. In addition to delivering Tier 1 content, it also includes embedded support for students that are working below grade level, as well as challenging prompts and activities for students that are considered gifted learners. Bluebonnet Learning RLA K-5 curriculum is rooted in the Science of Reading and is RBIS aligned. This class will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit and is not paid for with G/T coop funds.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
