Hooray for Books! New Children's Literature for Grades K-5




Do you love children's literature? Then come join us for, "Hooray for Books! New Children's Literature for grades K-5." Participants will be introduced to the latest children's literature for grades K-5 that will engage students with a wide range of interests and abilities. Explore the newest and award-winning books of 2025-2026, along with many ways to combine practical reading and language arts strategies to engage students in literacy. Using a variety of techniques and strategies, learn how to promote literature across all curriculum areas with all levels of students and walk away with resources to take straight to the classroom.

Important Session Information:


This class will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit and is not paid for with G/T coop funds.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
