RLA RBIS (Research-Based Instructional Strategies) K-12

Participants will explore a set of research-based instructional strategies in Reading/Language Arts that relate directly to HQIM.
Important Session Information:
RLA RBIS lays the foundation for essential best practices in reading instruction through focus on Foundational Skills, Text Complexity, Knowledge Coherence, and Text-based Responses. RBIS articulates the key instructional shifts that must be present when delivering rigorous instruction to all learners. This includes students with disabilities, English learners and students identified as gifted and talented. This session is Day 1 of 3 in the recommended sequence for educators who will be using the Bluebonnet RLA curriculum. It is for all teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators.
