Curiouser and Curiouser - Inquiry and Exploration in Elementary Science (Grades 3-5)

Elementary science workshops will provide teachers with resources to implement TEKS aligned, research and content- based activities and strategies into the 3-5 science classroom. Sessions will incorporate content from the tested student expectations.

Important Session Information:

How did the moon form? How does the Panama Canal work? Will we ever be able to predict earthquakes? Use real-world phenomena to provoke "why" and "what if" questions that engage all levels of learners. We will explore how to take advantage of students' natural curiosity to dive into deeper understanding of the content. This class will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit and is not paid for with G/T coop funds.
