This session is designed to provide support to reading language arts teachers. 

Important Session Information:


In this high-impact, zero-cost session, Grades 3–10 teachers build clarity and confidence with Texas Education Agency constructed response rubrics by scoring, calibrating, and deconstructing student work. Participants analyze score points, identify misconceptions, and use a process adapted from Tosh McGaughy to unpack what earns top scores and translate rubric language into student-friendly success criteria including opportunities and supports to reach level of mastery. Teachers leave with ready-to-implement constructed response lessons, a variance of supports and scaffolded strategies, and a practical plan to build stamina from Day 1—focused on collaboration, calibration, and results because everyday in RLA is a "bootcamp".
