The Behavior-Burnout Cycle




This session will focus on strategies you can use in the area of behavior.

Important Session Information:


When behaviors become unmanageable, teacher exhaustion turns to burnout. Then when teachers experience burnout, behavior turns to classroom chaos. This session explores the cycle that connects educator burnout and student behavior through the lenses of stress, the functions of behavior, and classroom dynamics. Participants will learn to identify strategies to strengthen behavior responses while also increasing their own mental and emotional capacity, creating classrooms that support both student success and educator sustainability.
