Basic Hearing Certification (for new or expired certification)




This will satisfy the Department of State Health Services requirement for hearing screening.  This certification is valid for 5 years. Please bring your audiometer to this training.

Important Session Information:


This training session provides Basic Hearing Certification, which remains valid for five years. It is intended for individuals obtaining certification for the first time or those whose previous certification has expired. Participants are encouraged to bring an audiometer, if available, for use during the session.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
