The Sciences of Literacy for Teachers of Students who are Blind, Deafblind, or have Low Vision - 5-part Virtual PD ZOOMS

This 5-part Virtual PD/book study/PLC will cover The Sciences of Literacy for Teachers of Students who are Blind, Deafblind, or have Low Vision. TSBVI staff will lead the series which is designed to ensure TVIs are equipped with substantial literacy content knowledge and skills to meet each learner's unique literacy needs. This text provides a comprehensive look at the enhanced content knowledge and intentional, research-based instructional practices all teachers can use to provide the high-quality, individualized literacy experiences and instruction students need and deserve.

Important Session Information:

You must attend all 5 sessions. You will receive 12 hours credit for the 5 one hour ZOOM sessions plus independent work required to participate in the ZOOM sessions. All work must be completed to receive credit.

There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
