BOWIE ISD: T-TESS New Teacher Orientation *Bowie ISD ONLY* 1pm-4pm




T-TESS is the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System.  It is the NEW Commissioner-recommended teacher evaluation system for the State of Texas, designed to provide support and feedback to educators in their professional development and help them grow and improve as educators.  T-TESS replaces PDAS as the state recommended appraisal system beginning the 2016-17 school year. All new teachers and teachers who have not been evaluated using T-TESS are required to attend a one day orientation.

Important Session Information:


This T-TESS New Teacher Orientation session will provide a basic understanding of the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System. Teachers will walk away with an understanding of the T-TESS Rubric and how administrators use this rubric to observe and evaluate teachers. **Required training for all new teachers in TX. This session is for Bowie ISD only.** NOTE TIME: 1pm-4pm
