Play through the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines with Planning and Purpose




Join Christi Luig for an engaging early childhood professional development session designed to inspire and equip educators working in Pre-K, ECSE, Head Start, and other early learning programs. Each session focuses on best practices in early childhood education, emphasizing developmentally appropriate instruction, intentional planning, and meaningful interactions that support the whole child. Important Session Information:


Participants will dive into the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines. The guidelines offer educators the information and support to prepare all children for success in kindergarten. The intended use of the guidelines is to provide guidance for planning quality learning experiences for children three to five years of age through purposeful play. The Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines are designed to help implement effective instructional practices and learning experiences designed to inform decisions that pertain to curriculum and instruction.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
