SPOT Training
Spot Vision Screener training - OSPI WILL PROVIDE CLOCK HOURS

In support of migrant student vision screenings, OSPI Migrant Education Program (MEP) is providing 4 WA State ESDs, including ESD 105, two Welch Allyn Spot Vision Screeners. ESD105 screeners will be available via the School Nurse Corps (SNC) for district vision screenings, primarily targeting migrant student screenings. Priority districts are those that participate in MEP, followed by those who do not participate in MEP but enroll migrant students.

Important Session Information:
The Welch Allyn Spot Vision Screener is a handheld vision screening device that helps users quickly and easily detect vision issues on patients from 6 months of age through adult. Spot screens both eyes at once from a nonthreatening 3-foot distance. The touch-screen display allows for one-touch activation, simple management of patient data entry, and easy configuration for both vision screening tests and autorefraction applications.
