Classroom Behavior Technician Phase 2
2019-20

The ESD 105 is currently offering a series of behavioral trainings based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The purpose of these trainings is to provide school staff with strategies and techniques for working with and teach students who have challenging behaviors and/or disabilities. These trainings are for educators, paraeducators, administrators, school psychologists, parents or other professionals (OTT, SLP) who would like to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies for helping clients or family members with developmental behavior challenges. Phase 2 continues to cover the RBT task list, focusing specifically on the skill set needed to teach and manage students within a special education classroom. Sessions will cover but are not limited to measurement, data collection, skill assessment, skill acquisition and the BACB ethical code.
