CEL5D+, Stage 1 - Day 2 2020-2021

Day 2: Objectives - Use the 5D+ Instructional framework and the 5D+ Rubric to support teacher growth by formulating feedback to give to a teacher. - use the 5D+ instructional framework and the 5D+ rubric to self-assess instructional practice. Day 2: - Welcome - Reflections and Review - classroom Environment and Culture within an Inquiry Cycle - Self-Assessment - Student Engagement within an Inquiry Cycle - Close/Evaluation


Important Session Information:

For fall 2020, each day of training includes approximately 3-hours of independent reading and reflection and a 3-hour live/virtual session, 8:30 – 11:30. The live sessions will include discussion and various learning engagement strategies about the 5 dimensions and 13 sub-dimensions of Teaching and Learning. The intended audience is principals, assistant principals, and central office staff who evaluate teachers under the TPEP evaluation system and are new to the framework as an evaluator.
