STAAR Systems: New Elementary Math TEKS Training (Grades K-5)

This professional development session will provide teachers and instructional leaders with the understanding of how to use the Lead4ward Content Alignment Tool and Lead4ward Side-by-Side comparison documents. Discussion points will include curricular and instructional implications and system consideration that can be employed to support transitioning teachers and students. Workshop registration includes copies of the Lead4ward Content Alignment Tool and the Lead4ward Side-by-Side Alignment Tool; the Side-by-Side Alignment Tool provides in-depth analysis of the current and newly-adopted TEKS. Participants registered for this session will receive the K-5 tools from Lead4ward.
Important Workshop Information:
There is a $60 fee for this training, as it will cover the cost of the materials participants receive from Lead4ward. (This is a repeat of session #362364 on March 22, 2013.)
