Raising Rigor with Writing Across the Curriculum Grades 3-12
Share
Do you want to know why every teacher should explicitly teach writing in their content area as a skill for their students? It's the best evidence of critical thinking that you can receive from them. Do you want to raise the rigor of learning in your classroom, adding critical thinking teacher to your job title? Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) is an approach that provides students critical thinking and writing opportunities throughout the day. Writing is a key practice to raising the rigor of content knowledge and understanding. This session will demonstrate what critical thinking looks and sounds like when writing is used well in all content areas. Come experience Raising Rigor with WAC!
