 A case study of Telcoe Business and Service Pathway at Maumelle High School. We have a mini branch set up inside the high school that is open during the week where students can work. As students transition into their junior and senior year, they have the opportunity to intern in our branch. We want to share our process and how this could be replicated. Students get an early look at banking operations and personal finances. This can spark a future career as a loan officer, teller, IT professional, marketing professional or other banking career. It has been a joy to show students which careers need a college degree, and which careers can be started right out of high school.

These transactions, more often than not, take place with legitimate businesses and without problems. Scam artists connive and swindle consumers to make a quick profit. They sell fake products and services or promise millions of dollars for only a small investment of time or money. This workshop is designed to help our retired members to be vigilant and cautious when presented with an offer that sounds too good to be true.
