DSC Growing Up WILD guide and Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood

Come experience hands-on, interactive lessons that teach young children (ages 3-7) about the natural world around them. Join us for this fun and educational day and learn how to implement these activities into your own classroom, camp, or educational programs. Materials are correlated to the Arkansas Early Childhood Education Frameworks, the National Head Start Program and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) frameworks. Participants will receive the Growing Up WILD guide and Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood guide along with a music CD at the conclusion of the workshop. A $10 materials fee will be collected at the door to cover the PLT materials costs. Participants will receive 6 hours of ADE-approved Professional Development. This workshop also qualifies for TAPP credit through the TAPP Registry. Participants must stay for the full 6 hour training in order to receive the curriculum guides and the 6 hours of PD.
