SCSC-Improving Your World Language Classroom

With Google Apps for Education as an interface, language and culture are at your students' fingertips. Participants of the workshop will learn how to assess and track proficiency in innovative ways, and will leave with an additional toolbox for bringing language to life in the classroom. Come and learn how to use technology to enhance language acquisition in your World Language classroom. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1A, 1C, 1D, 1E, 1F, 3B, 3C, & 3D.

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. All professional development (PD) sessions require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not met; the PD session will be canceled two weeks prior to the event. Registrants for the session will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price of the session(s) not attended. No credit will be awarded until the fee is paid.
