SCSC - Pre-K Standards-Arkansas CDELS



In April 2016, the Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education and the Arkansas Head Start Collaboration Office released the Arkansas Child Development and Early Learning Standards: Birth through 60 Months. Prior to this document, child development standards were divided by age range in multiple documents. Designed to also align with the kindergarten language arts and math standards, the learning goals presented in this document also support the transition from early childhood into K-12 education. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 4E.
