This course will focus on mathematical reasoning as an evolving process of conjecturing, generalizing, investigating why, and developing and evaluating arguments. It is organized around one big idea—Mathematical Reasoning, supported by smaller interconnected ideas. Course participants will be able to:
· Write and adapt tasks that promote conjecturing and generalizing
· Support conjecturing, generalizing, and justifying in the classroom
· Promote mathematical reasoning
