Coined by Mr. Barnes, ST3 will model facilitation methods in order to promote and guide student understanding, creativity, modern problem-solving, and collaboration. For this session, students will be teaching teachers about the Ricoh Theta S and Oculus Rift. The workshop is designed for very beginners and will progress towards actually preparing viable introductory lesson plans for students of all ages.
Instructors will include three tenth graders from The Academies at Jonesboro High School, all former students of Mr. Barnes, and one ninth grader from Douglas MacArthur Junior High School in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Participants will have a variety of activities, throughout the workshop, and will be given time and resources to create classroom presentations for their students.
