NWAESC---Novice Teachers' Forum: 5th-12th Grade Social Studies (2246)
First year middle school Social Studies teachers are invited to spend the afternoon learning specific tips on how to differentiation for the varied academic levels of the students you teach. Novices are invited to bring their differentiation challenges, concerns, questions --and/ or, a lesson plan that poses a challenge to differentiation. Schools in northwest Arkansas are the most diverse in the state with more English Learners and more children of poverty, as well as a healthy dose of special education students, so it is easy to be overwhelmed with trying to meet the needs of these many and diverse learners. Come learn how to differentiate more efficiently and effectively.
