DMESC - Grasping Phenomenal Science: Overview and Follow-up

Come experience the vision for Science Education!  Grasping Phenomenal Science is a follow-up to the summer instruction sponsored by the ADE and affords teachers the opportunity to explore a variety of lessons K-12 and discover how they can make science more meaningful and exciting.  Educators will explore science phenomena, reflect on instructional strategies, and make connections to the new Arkansas K-12 Science Standards. Student-focused learning through the application of science, math and literacy skills will be highlighted.

Although a follow-up to summer GPS, this session is open to any teacher K-12 interested in improving science education
