Our meeting will focus on the implementation of Act 1294 and school-based identification of students with characteristics of dyslexia in Arkansas. Led by Vicki King, Dyslexia Specialist for the Arkansas Department of Education, this meeting will cover a review of the core principles of dyslexia identification, case studies, and step-by-step procedures for analyzing evaluations.
This course will prepare educators to be informed members of the school-based teams making decisions regarding students' needs for interventions, services, and accommodations.
