Facebook has partnered with ADE and Arkansas Public School Resource Center to bring 500 virtual reality (VR) kits to Arkansas to be used by students and educators. For the second year in a row, CRESC will offer training to eligible schools that completed the MOU.
If your district is receiving more than 1 VR kit, you MUST send a team from each building that received a kit. Teams will need to bring a laptop for the training. During the training each team will assemble their kit and learn how to operate it. Teams will take their kits with them when they leave at the end of the day. Here are the dimensions of the boxes: 2-14X18 in. and 15X24 in.
In order to receive the equipment, at least 3 representatives must be present for the entire day of training. Schools should consider bringing a minimum of 3 with the maximum of 5 team members. Consider the following for your team: tech coordinator, instructional technologist, business instructor, library media, STEM, computer science, or any innovative technology savvy team member.
