During the summer, teachers began exploring a framework for how elementary school children learn to use concepts of numbers, operations, and early Algebra. Teachers can utilize this framework to guide their math instruction. These follow-up days will include classroom embedded instruction that will deepen their understanding of how to implement the framework that is called Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI).
