NWAESC---LIPS: Lindamood-Bell Phonetic Sequencing (2095)

The contribution of the LIPS Program is the development of an oral-motor, visual, and auditory feeback system that enables all students to prove the identify, number, and othder of phonemes in syllables and words. It is more basic and more extensive than traditional phonics programs. This three day training from Lindamood-Bell will train teachers to teach students to discover and label the oral-motor movements of phonemes. Students can then verify the identity, instruction for kindergarten and early first grade, and may be used as Tier Two and Three interventions for students exhibiting certain characteristics of dyslexia.
