This is an outdoor event held at The "Cattle-Lot" Gallery, 4981 Hwy 36W, Searcy, AR (on Joy Mountain towards Rose Bud, AR). Participants will draw short studies of a fully completed composition on watercolor paper. For inspiration, they will be using a 7 acre lake/pond with a pavilion, a walking deck extending into the water, woods and trails, hayfields, rolling fields, and many plants and flowers (ex: irises, roses, crepe myrtles and lilies).
The student-drawn composition will be completed with watercolor paint using a limited palette to encourage paint mixing.
This session is for Wilbur Mills Cooperative Art Teachers exclusively. Bring the following items:
Watercolor brushes, lawn chairs, lap-board, and a sack lunch. Dining also available in Rose Bud.
