We will take a look at Death-Defying Challenges from a world where Fantasy Meets Mathematics, and survival depends on finding a correct result. Aligning with the Arkansas Mathematics Standards, survival strategies will include: Operations and Algebraic Thinking, Ratios and Proportions, Expressions and Equations, Analytic Thinking and more! The problems are separated into three levels of difficulty, depending on your chances of survival: You Might Make It, Slim to None, and You’re Dead! This professional development includes The Book of Perfectly Perilous Math, classroom assistance throughout the year and online and/or follow-up opportunities available upon request.
