WDMESC: Confronting Death in the School Family

Unfortunately, thousands of school age children die each year in the United States. In addition, thousands more experience the expected or unexpected death of a parent, sibling, classmate, teacher, or other significant person in their lives. This presentation is designed to assist school staff to develop appropriate and helpful procedures and policies in dealing with tragedy for students, as well as themselves as they care for the school family.
