SWAEC- Number Talks Matter - Grades 4-10
Do you have students who struggle with fluency and basic computations? This training is based on the book, Making Number Talks Matter Grades 4-10, by Cathy Humphreys and Ruth Parker. The training offers concrete steps to stimulate the kind of rich discourse that helps students make sense of numbers, gain confidence, and develop the critical thinking skills they need to be successful. The training will offer practical ideas for using Number Talks to help students learn to reason numerically and build a solid foundation for the study of mathematics. The Number Talk book will be provided. TESS: 1C, 1E, 2A, 2B, 2C, 3B, 3C, 4E
