“Arkansas Diamond Primary Book Award (K-3) and Charlie May Simon Book Award (4-6). Overview of the books nominated by the state reading committees for 2018-2019 will be furnished. In this open discussion, attendees are invited to participate and share their observations and comments. This annual presentation has some history of the awards, key information on each book, general facts about each author, posters of the book covers suitable for display, and the books will be available for hands on review.”
