Quantitative Literacy - HS Math Teachers
This course addresses personal and business finance as will as modeling, numerical reasoning, statistics, and probability. Spend time unraveling the standards and discovering how Quantitative Literacy is different from other math courses. Activities and resources will be shared. For teachers that have already attended the training, but would like to attend again, please bring resources to share. Be prepared to share your experiences, good and bad, from your first year teaching Quantitative Literacy. The prerequisite for Quantitative Literacy is Algebra I. This is a Smart Core and 4th-year math course.

A $50 FEE WILL BE DUE ON THE DAY OF THE WORKSHOP IF NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE DMESC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM.
